Affirmative: S + be into + … to talk about hobbies, interests, and passions.
  • She is into painting landscapes.
  • They are into playing board games.
  • She’s been into practicing yoga and meditation to reduce stress.
Negative: S + be not into + …
  • I am not into watching horror movies.
  • She’s not into attending crowded parties
  • They’re not into eating spicy food.

to express a strong dislike for something
  • The phrase “can’t stand” is followed by either a noun or a gerund (a verb that ends in -ing and functions as a noun).
  • It expresses a stronger feeling than just “don’t like”.
  • It is often used in both spoken and written English and is considered informal.
Examples with a noun: can’t stand + Noun
  • I can’t stand the noise. (Tôi không thể chịu đựng nỗi tiếng ồn ào.)
  • She can’t stand the heat. (Cô ấy không thể chịu đựng nổi cái nóng.)
Examples with a gerund: can’t stand + V-ing
  • He can’t stand waiting in long lines. (Anh ấy không thể chịu đựng được việc xếp hàng chờ đợi lâu.)
