The world has four seasons: autumn, winter, spring, and summer. The world has four seasons: autumn, winter, spring, and summer. Each season is different, and brings special changes.
Autumn
In autumn, the leaves on the trees change colour. The leaves turn yellow, orange, and red. The weather starts to get cooler, and you need a sweater. People pick apples and pumpkins. There are many special holidays in Autumn.
Winter
Winter is the coldest season. You can sometimes see snow falling from the sky. People wear warm coats, scarves, and socks. There are no leaves on the trees anymore. You can build a fire or drink hot chocolate to keep yourself warm.
Spring
Spring comes after winter. The days get longer, and the weather becomes warmer. Flowers bloom, and trees grow new leaves. Some people take photos of all the flowers. It’s a great time for picnics in the park, too.
Summer
Summer is the hottest season. The sun shines, and you can wear shorts and T-shirts. It’s perfect for going to the beach or having a barbecue with friends. You can enjoy ice cream and swim in the pool. Many people travel during summer.
